Some Tariffs on Alcoholic Beverages suspended

Tariffs on distilled spirits are suspended for the next five year, since the U.S. and EU reached a deal in the WTO Boeing-Airbus dispute. The tariffs imposed on spirits were just some of the tariffs in connection with the dispute and were certainly hurting the industry. Unfortunately, the suspension does not include the tariffs on American Whiskey, which is based on a dispute related to aluminum and steel. The goal for DISCUS and the industry is to go back to the zero-to-zero tariff agreement.
