Hands-on role, coordinating the training curriculum and compilation of training material to successfully train and advance technical evaluator associates. Will work directly with stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Coordinate with teams to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible, and that training and operational guidelines are written and well organized.
Education and Experience preference: Bachelor of Science degree food Science or food processing or food microbiology. Essential: Bachelor of Science degree in any field of biological sciences viz, biology, microbiology, biochemistry, horticulture, biotechnology or nutritional science. 3 – 5 years’ experience in food certification industry and or a combination of education and experience.
Certification Auditor, US. This role performs laboratory and field tests to monitor the environment and investigate sources, including those that affect health or require certification. May collect samples of food, gases, soil, water, and other materials for testing. Requirements are BS in Food Science and 2-4 years of inspection and/or auditing experience in the food safety area.
The Technical (Food) Evaluator conducts regulatory/technical reviews of products enrolled in the Non-GMO Project product verification program. Requirements for this position include a BS in Food Science or related field.
Entry-level position with opportunity for growth implementing quality management plans for verification, validation, and continuous improvement of web applications built on a .Net-based framework in an Agile software development environment process.
This position reports to the QA Manager and is located in Fairfield, IA.
- Write and execute test cases and document test results in accordance with test plans
- Monitor, track and report on software regression test case failures
- Participate in the development of quality measurements
- Coordinate and manage the execution of testing to completion on scheduled timeframe
- Facilitate the development of testable requirements
- Monitor and manage test environments
- Work with Product Manager, QA Manager, Release Manager, Business Analyst and Developers on product readiness
- Provide post-implementation support on deliverables
- Classify issue severity
The ideal candidate has the following background, but this is an entry-level position so candidates with a strong aptitude and working experience will also be considered who are motivated to learn.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Understanding of the basics of software development life cycle
- Exposure to quality / lean practices
- Ability to focus on details
- Passion for learning, innovation, objectivity, and teamwork
- Ability to work within a team and also independently on assigned tasks
- Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented focus
Working experience with one or more of the following is a plus.
- Software programming
- Automated software testing and DevOps
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Agile software development methodology, knowledge, or experience a plus
