Earlier this month the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of Korea published the “Partial Amendment of the Korea Food Standard and Specification” No. 2022-48. Changes included in the amendment include updates to the standards of foods for special medical purposes and nutritional preparations for the elderly as well the re-evaluation of certain raw materials to ensure food safety.  Also addressed are new residual tolerances for cyhalothrin and the veterinary drug ketoprofen.
