Voluntary Recall of Oranges, Lemons and Limes
18 August 2020
Freshouse II is voluntarily recalling certain brands and lots of oranges, lemons, limes, organic limes and red potatoes because they are potentially contaminated with listeria. The recall was voluntarily initiated after the company’s routine internal testing identified Listeria monocytogenes on a piece of production equipment in one of their packing facilities. The produce has already been shipped to wholesalers in multiple states. To date there have been no known illnesses associated with this recall, and FDA is expected to take no action as a voluntary recall has been initiated. Questions? Contact us here.
