USDA hosts Food Loss and Waste Innovation Fair

Food waste is a mounting problem around the world. The United States Department of Agriculture, USDA, is hosting a Food Loss and Waste Innovation Fair on 26 May 2021. The entire food supply chain, starting at food production, distribution, storage and consumption, needs to be involved to make an impact. Governments and agencies require the support from private entities, businesses and consumers to achieve a significant reduction of the vast amount of food waste:  30-40% of food produced.
