The Impact of Covid-19 on Food Fraud

The Food Authenticity Network (FAN) and Mérieux Nutrisciences published an article that can be downloaded by the public. Food Fraud media reports increased during the first half of 2020, and there was also an increase in official Food Fraud reports. However, world-wide monitoring of food fraud incidents is still a challenge, and the relatively small sample of data does not show a dramatic increase in food fraud due to Covid-19.
