New ECHA guidelines reduce animal testing

Skin sensitization, allergies, and contact dermatitis are of concern in over 14,000 chemicals. REACH requires in vitro testing for skin sensitizing substances. To reduce the need to test on animals, ECHA has published new guidelines to combine different sources of alternative data, such as computer simulation.
