A judge recently determined that the lawsuit alleging Subway’s tuna sandwich isn’t made with tuna can move forward. The sandwich maker claims the tuna sandwich is made with 100% tuna, but testing found no detectable tuna DNA sequences.  The lawsuit alleges that Subway’s tuna is actually made with chicken and pork, but the sandwich chain argued that the non-tuna DNA results were caused by cross contact with other ingredients. The initial lawsuit was filed in California.
