Scope: This Emergency Regulation establishes the requirements for FOOD CONTACT in COLOMBIA. It includes the terms and definitions, product classification, and requirements of CERAMICS. It is applicable to production, inspection and sales of glass, ceramic, and glass-ceramic utensils; glass, ceramic and glass-ceramic crockery in contact with food; and ceramic utensils used in the cooking of food, which are manufactured, imported and marketed in the national territory.
