Scope: This regulation establishes the requirements for FOOD ADDITIVES in CHINA. It includes terms and definitions, specification, test methods and inspection rules of SILICON DIOXIDE. It is applicable to gas phase method (chlorosilanes in an oxygen- hydrogen flame hydrolysis) and precipitation (including gel method, by the reaction of sodium silicate solution and acid production) prepared food additives silica.
