Scope: This regulation establishes the requirements for FOOD LABELING in ISRAEL. It includes the information available to consumers regarding the nutritional value of pre-packaged food, in a clear manner and often through symbols informing that the food contains a high amount of sodium, sugars or saturated fatty acids, to allow consumers to be informed and to promote their health.
