Scope: This regulation establishes the requirements for BEVERAGE STANDARDS in CHINA. It includes the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage of HERBAL TEA BEVERAGES. It is applicable to liquid beverages which main ingredients are water extract of tea leaves or its concentrate with liquid, tea powder, allowing to add another ingredients such as sugar, acidulate, food flavoring, fruit juice, among others.
