Scope: This decree establishes the requirements for WATER DRINKING SYSTEMS in COLOMBIA. It includes the drinking water quality control system, in order to monitor, prevent and control the risks to human health caused by its consumption, with the exception of bottled water. It is applicable to all providers who supply or distribute drinking water, whether raw or treated, national territory.
