Seafood Fraudsters, Beware!

A portable, handheld scanner that detects the provenance of seafood is the industry’s latest tool in the fight against fraudulent labelling. The scanner, trialled by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO), has been shown to be up to 90-per-cent accurate in identifying the origin of tiger prawns.
