City officials in UK city crack down on illicit alcohol: Fraudsters, take notice – The Hull City Council’s Trading Standards Team confiscated several hundred bottles of fake wine that imitated a well-known brand. Fortunately, in this case, the counterfeit wines did not pose a risk to human health, however, illicit alcoholic beverages can be dangerous. Hull’s city officials are taking this very seriously and set up a hotline where citizens can report fraud cases.
