Food Contact Regulations Update in Colombia

Back on 15 July 2020, Colombia’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection extended the current emergency technical resolution concerning the migration of lead and cadmium from ceramic and glass food contact materials into food, originally enacted in July 2019. This was set to only be valid for one year. The resolution has now been extended for an additional six months until 16 January 2021. Questions? Check with our Food Contact Experts.
