EWG Comments to OEHHA

Earlier last week, EWG (Environmental Working Group) submitted comments to California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment and the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee to recommend prioritization of several substances for Proposition 65 review.  The EWG is a nonprofit activist organization that focuses on research and advocacy around toxic chemicals, drinking water pollutants, agricultural chemicals, etc.  The EWG and OEHHA have a history of working together to prioritize substances for review.  The latest substances recommended for prioritization include some toxic parabens, glyphosate, and several polyfluorinated substances (PFAS).
