Dutch Representatives Support Cellular Agriculture

While the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has not yet given cultivated meat the regulatory thumbs up, tastings of cultivated meat can be conducted in member states France and Germany. The Dutch House of Representatives voted earlier this week to conduct similar tastings. This should help manufacturers advance a safe and healthy introduction of their products to other EU markets. Tastings of cell cultured meat under controlled conditions are an important step for the industry. The first cultivated meat product was created in the Netherlands over ten years ago.
