This two-day course is designed especially for people who are new to delivering training — whether you’re a technical expert, team lead, or subject-matter specialist. You’ll learn practical techniques to help you plan and deliver engaging sessions, build learner confidence, and support real-world performance.

To provide an understanding of:
- The essentials of great training delivery
- How adults learn (and how to make it stick)
- Planning sessions with purpose
- Communicating clearly and confidently
- Using feedback to support growth
Who should attend:
- Technical and quality managers in food manufacturing and foodservice who train, coach or brief teams
- Auditors (e.g. food safety, packaging, certification-body auditors) moving into a training or tutoring role
- Subject-matter experts who deliver, or are about to deliver, internal or commercial training.
Breakdown of the day:
- Day 1 covers theory and practice of training skills
- Day 2 participants put theory into practice, to deliver a short training session
Assessment:
Ongoing assessment for learning throughout the course, and a final assessment of a training session delivered by delegates.
Participants will receive a CPD certificate of completion at the end of the course.
