Since 1999, Cert ID, a sister company of Genetic ID, maintains the internationally recognized Cert ID “Non-GMO” certification program – the first such program worldwide.
With its internationally recognized standards, the Cert ID “NON-GMO” certification provides an efficient and practical means of ensuring non-GMO status for food and feed.
Cert ID offers the following two standards:
- CERT ID Non-GMO Standard (maximum 0.1% random or technically unavoidable GMO contamination)
- CERT ID EU standard (maximum 0.9% random or technically unavoidable GMO contamination).
Both standards meet the requirements of EU Regulation (EC) 1830/2003 on the traceability and identification of genetically modified organisms in food and feed.
