Our ‘Internal Auditor – Factory & Food Safety’ training course is presented by our experienced trainers and consultants, who offer extensive knowledge of how to achieve the best outcome in an audit (including specialists in BRC audits).

All quality management systems need frequent checking (internal audits) to make sure they are working as intended. As a result, training your internal auditor(s) to ensure they have all the knowledge they need is an essential part of audit preparation. Our course provides your company’s internal auditors with tools and information they need to carry out thorough and productive audits.

RSPH Level 2 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing

HACCP, standing for hazard analysis and critical control points, is important within every area of food business, as it’s a system which identifies, evaluates and controls hazards which are significant for food safety. Arguably one of the most essential food industry courses available, this one day HACCP training course is an in depth and informative course, with an optional examination for delegates to achieve a RSPH HACCP Level 2 Certificate.

RSPH Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing

This Level 3 qualification covers the importance of HACCP-based food safety management procedures, the preliminary processes, development of the HACCP plan and implementation including monitoring of critical control points, corrective actions and verification.
The aim of this qualification is to develop an understanding of HACCP-based food safety management. Holders of this qualification will have the appropriate knowledge and understanding to be an integral part of a HACCP team and to supervise the operation of a HACCP-based system in the work environment.

Helping you ensure your Food Labels are compliant with current legislation

Food Labelling can be difficult and stressful as it often involves looking through a minefield of legislation and codes of practice to ensure your product labels comply with current food labelling legislation.

Our knowledgeable food law consultants have a wealth of knowledge and experience in putting legally compliant products to market. They will be able to answer your questions and offer advice on food labelling queries.

We have two services on offer that can assist you with your food labelling:

  • Full Food Labelling Compliance Service – ‘Compositional Review’ that will help ensure your product is legal before you make it. It will provide you with a “Pack Copy” documentcontaining all the required information, ready to provide to your design agency to copy and paste the legal information into your label artwork
  • Food Labelling Check and Review Service – Service to review current food labels assessing whether the label contains non-compliant elements and whether changes are required.

In Germany, VLOG is the Non-GMO Certification Standard that is backed by the German Government and trusted by the German consumer. Currently, it is not mandatory for products sold in Germany to carry the Ohne Gentechnik seal, but if your product has it, German consumers are more likely to purchase it.

While the VLOG Standard has been around some time, it is still relatively new to businesses outside of Germany. If you are a food manufacturer and you are, or you are planning to, export to Germany, VLOG certification should be on your list of certifications to consider.
Our course will walk you through the requirements of the standard, and equip you with the resources and tools to achieve VLOG Certification for your product.

As demands for sustainable food and drinks products increase, our course is designed to assist organisations in helping to understand what sustainability means, and the most important factors surrounding it. Our course will look at the sustainability commitments made by retailers and global brands, the risks within their supply chains, and identify cost and time effective mitigation strategies. In addition, attending the course will provide you with key sustainability knowledge, enabling you to communicate your sustainable status to key markets with a sustainable focus.

From October 2018 FoodChain ID Technical Services will be running BRC Food Issue 7 to Issue 8 Conversion Courses as well as full Standard training courses.

Our training programme also includes a range of product safety management courses, risk assessment, validation and verification, root cause analysis, these courses as designed to provide delegates with the key skills for successful implementation of the Standards.

Presented by our BRC Approved Training Provider (ATP) Emma West, our training courses are available as both open and onsite courses.

The accelerated learning programme is an interactive way of learning, which enables you to extend your BRC knowledge and skills and become that one knowledgeable BRC person within your company.

You’ll complete a series of scheduled courses, each designed by BRC Technical Standards Managers and presented by our BRC Approved Training Provider, meaning that you’ll receive up to date and relevant information during the training.

Once you’ve successfully completed all the courses, you’ll receive your BRC Professional badge and a unique and portable learning profile, which proves you’ve completed globally recognised courses.
