Astrid Goplen

GLOBALG.A.P. Trainer - FoodChain ID

Astrid has over 25 years of experience in agriculture, with a focus on the growing, harvesting and handling of crops. She specializes as a professional pest management consultant for perennial crop growers. For the past 10 years, Astrid has played an active role in food safety and environmental sustainability programs for crop production, including as an auditor. Currently Astrid works with FoodChain ID as the GLOBALG.A.P. Train-the-Public Trainer and GLOBALG.A.P. In-House-Trainer of auditors. Astrid hold a MSc in Agricultural Science from the University of Copenhagen.

Robin Rose

Key Account Manager - GLOBALG.A.P. North America

Robin joined GLOBALG.A.P. North America in 2019 as the Key Account Manager for the USA and Canada, supporting the growth of GLOBALG.A.P. certification among producers and shippers of all types. She has made a career in sustainable and safe agriculture for the last 20 years, getting her start working on farms in New York and California. In 2004, she transitioned to running organic farm certification and other programs for CCOF, the largest organic certifier in the United States, where she remained for over a decade. In 2015 Robin joined the Whole Foods Market global produce team to implement a program to incentivize suppliers to improve sustainability practices and traceability. Robin lives in Watsonville, California surrounded by fields of strawberries, artichokes, salad greens and brussels sprouts.

Rebecca Anderson

Technical Key Account Manager - GLOBALG.A.P. North America

Rebecca is GLOBALG.A.P.'s technical expert, liaison, and trainer for the North American marketplace. Rebecca joined GLOBALG.A.P. North America in October 2016 for standard development, managing the National Technical Working Group and supporting producers, certification bodies and Farm Assurers. Rebecca has been in the food sector for 10 years, with roles as a certification body program manager in auditing, orchard and dairy management, greenhouse production and teaching. She has a B.Sc. in Agriculture Science from California Polytechnic State University and is an MBA/MPA candidate at Presidio Graduate School.
