FoodChain ID Certification is a part of FoodChain ID.

FoodChain ID provides food certification, testing, training, and consultation services across the globe. To ensure specialisation and independence in services, FoodChain ID is comprised of three divisions: FoodChain ID Certification, FoodChain ID Testing and FoodChain ID Technical Services.

FoodChain ID Certification

FoodChain ID Certification (formerly Cert-ID) was established in 1999.  It provides a wide range of inspection, certification and verification services to the retail, food, feed, and agriculture sectors.  FoodChain ID Certification offers food safety, sustainability, non-GMO, organic, and free-from services. It is a highly skilled team with over 15,000 clients in more than 30 countries worldwide.

FoodChain ID Certification currently have offices in Europe, America, Germany, Brazil, and India. Our UK & US offices are accredited to ISO/IEC 17065.

FoodChain ID Testing

FoodChain ID Testing (formerly Genetic ID) was founded in 1996 in Fairfield, Iowa as one of the first commercial laboratories for GMO analysis worldwide. Additional laboratories opened soon afterwards in Japan and Brazil. FoodChain ID Testing based in Germany was founded in 2001. All laboratories are accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025.

FoodChain ID Testing runs a global laboratory network and licensee programme – the Global Laboratory Alliance. Since its beginning FoodChain ID Testing has been involved with food and feed testing and remains an international market leader in GMO analysis.

FoodChain ID Technical Services

FoodChain ID Technical Services (formerly FoodChain ID)  specialises in non-GMO product verification with expertise in GMO testing, global GMO regulatory requirements, and supply chain compliance platforms.  It also provides unique horizon scanning services to help organizations stay alert to potential issues in their supply chain regardless of the location of suppliers around the world.

The FoodChain ID Technical Services US office is the longest serving technical administrator for the Non-GMO Project’s Product Verification Program. They have verified more than 50,000 products and served more than 2,500 clients in over 100 countries.

The FoodChain ID Technical Services UK office provides high quality training solutions to suit all areas of the food industry through its network of qualified and experienced consultants.

Additionally, FoodChain ID Technical Services UK office owns and operates inSYTE (the Food and Ingredient Supply Compliance platform), which facilitates the management of a transparent and traceable supply network.
