Our second highest priority is the continuation of services and of economic activity related to the certification schemes we operate with, including ProTerra. We are trying our best to support businesses and ProTerra Network members and certified organizations to deal with the challenges and uncertainty generated by this new global situation caused by COVID-19.
As a strategic partner of The ProTerra Foundation. FoodChain ID, with auditors and employees working from home, will be doing inspections of soybean crushers and sugarcane mills remotely, when possible, to protect them from acquiring the novel Coronavirus. This has been agreed to under a protocol approved by ProTerra Foundation.
Based on risk assessments, FoodChain ID may conduct ProTerra remote audits in extraordinary circumstances where feasible and applicable, without compromising the integrity of information, quality of audit report and certification. For the purpose of this protocol, certified organizations are industrial processors, processors of certified ingredients, chain of custody organizations, trading companies, storage and transport.
