Job Summary
As a Azure Development Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the development team to ensure smooth delivery of applications by leveraging your knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies. You will also contribute to the development of applications in .Net, C#, SQL, and Angular as needed and participate in Agile Scrum development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with development teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement automated testing and deployment strategies to improve application quality and delivery speed
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions for applications and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes as needed
- Contribute to the development of applications in .Net, C#, SQL, and Angular, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging
- Participate in Agile Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that development work aligns with business requirements
- Provide technical guidance to team members as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering, including experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in .Net, C#, SQL, and Angular development
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Application Insights and DataDog
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with development teams
