Continue Enrollment

Step 1:

Step 2:

Will all your co-packers enroll the products you wish to have verified with the NGP? (It's less expensive for you if they enroll your products)

Step 3:

How many products will you enroll (excluding products which your co-packers will enroll on your behalf)? A product is a unique formulation and/or name (including brand name).

How many of these are single-ingredient products? (i.e. vegetables, single dried or fresh herb)
Note: If the product is packaged in different sizes, but the name is the same on each label, then all sizes are counted as one product.
Note: If you are an animal derivative producer, group products in the following categories: whole, cuts, ground, organs, bones. Each category, per species, counts as one product.

Step 4:

Do any of your products contain animal derived ingredients?
Note: Animal derivatives include honey, dairy, eggs, and meat. If you're an animal producer, you can skip this step.

Step 6:

How many owned facilities and/or copackers (final handlers) produce the products indicated in Step 3?

Step 7:

Please provide a unique ingredient list for the products included in Step 3.

List one unique ingredient per row. Compound ingredients can be listed on one row. Example: "Popped corn (Popcorn, canola oil, salt)"
Note: If you are an animal derivative producer, your ingredient list needs to include all inputs to the feed rations separately, including pasture, if applicable. E.g. corn, soy, alfalfa, limestone, grass hay, calcium, vitamin premix.

Please list ingredient name and for the supplier(s) you use, is this ingredient listed as verified on the NGP Web Site?

The three phases of verification

1. Pre-Enrollment

FoodChain ID will assess the GMO-risk of your products/ingredients and issue a cost estimate for your verification process.

2. Technical Evaluation

A technical evaluator undertakes the evaluation of your products. The evaluator will let you know if testing and/or facility inspection will be required, and how to proceed.

3. Verification and Continued Compliance

Once your products pass verification, you will be eligible to use the Non-GMO Project Verified seal on packaging and in marketing. Note that annual renewal is required to ensure continued compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard.
