How Effective Root Cause Analysis Drives Continuous Improvement

A FoodChain ID Webinar

Tuesday, June 28th

9:00 AM CST | 10:00 AM EST | 3:00 PM BST

Root cause analysis can provide a means for continuous improvement in a food safety management system. In evaluating the cause of non-conformances, a root cause analysis looks deeper than immediate corrective action to examine underlying causes of an issue and prevent recurrence of the same problem.

The webinar panel includes a BRCGS speaker, who will review what BRCGS expects in root cause analysis and documentation. FoodChain ID will add the perspective of a certification body on using root cause analysis to foster a culture of continuous food safety improvement.

  • Understand the definition of root cause analysis and BRCGS’ expectations
  • Develop a problem-solving process to apply to non-conformances
  • Cite common methods for initiating and documenting root cause analysis
  • Identify examples of how root cause analysis drives food safety improvement
