Australia will begin a two-year transition to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals Revision 7 (GHS 7) on January 1, 2021.  GHS requirements were originally introduced in Australia in January 201 and then implemented in a stepwise fashion to a new labeling system.  Safe Work Australia has created a dedicated website outlining the transition and has published guidelines to assist manufacturers, importers and suppliers.
