Advanced Formula Optimizer

Hamilton Grant’s sophisticated Formula Optimizer continues to lead the way. Part of our Recipe Management System, the module allows you to develop recipes to precise specifications while minimising the total cost of the ingredients used. It will take into account processing  losses and gains, required ingredient ratios, nutritional profiles, vitamin degradation, and more. It will allow you to specify both final product targets and interim liquid pre-bake/pre-evaporation targets for greater flexibility and efficiency.

We have also added the ability to optimize to an existing ingredient declaration, so you can create a new recipe, or optimise an existing recipe, while keeping the basic ingredient declaration the same. This allows you to keep existing packaging and refine your recipes regularly without incurring extra packaging costs. Different optimised versions of the same recipe can be compared side by side, for  nutritional profile, costs, allergens etc. using our related Recipe comparison tool.
