FoodChain ID’s highest priority is the health and safety of our employees, employees of certified organization, partners and all those with whom we interact. Our second highest priority is the continuation of services and of economic activity related to the certification schemes we operate with including the FoodChain ID (FCID) Non-GMO Global Standard Certification. We are doing our best to support businesses and organizations certified to FCID Non-GMO Global Standard to deal with the challenges and uncertainties generated by this new global situation caused by COVID-19.

Based on risk assessments, FoodChain ID may conduct FCID Non-GMO remote audits in extraordinary circumstances where feasible and applicable, without compromising the integrity of information, quality of audit report and certification. Applicability of remote audits is for food and feed ingredients and products including certified industrial processors, chain of custody organizations,  processors of certified ingredients, trading companies, storage and transport, that produce and/or handle products that have been certified to FCID Non-GMO Standard. Any other situation will be considered on a case-by-case basis for approval before performing the audit. Should you need more information, questions or comments arise, please do not hesitate to contact FoodChain ID at info@fcid.com.br
