Account Services Manager

This position is responsible for directing operations for the Key Account and General Account Services departments, and manages a team of account consultants using a strategic approach, develops new business, enables product up-sell opportunities, positions existing clients for renewals, and contributes to the diversification and growth of our client base. This position will initially supervise 10 staff members.

The Account Services Manager drives value-creating insights, recommendations, and solutions across multiple projects, and will work in the areas of financial performance reporting, budgeting, operations, analytical modeling, on-going/new business pricing, and budget/forecast development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an effective account management strategy and metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and account growth
  • Develop operational performance, financial, and growth plans aligned with company goals
  • Establish quality standards, and monitor/implement timely corrective actions when necessary
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risk by building and exercising effective controls
  • Ensure that operational activities are executed effectively and efficiently
  • Be accountable for performance shortfalls and develop corrective action plans when performance falls below targets
  • Build, maintain, and improve customer relationships regularly
  • Drive standardization across all execution procedures
  • Drive behavioral/structural change within the customer network and across functions to achieve efficiency and effectiveness improvements
  • Work closely with sales team to cross-sell and up-sell
  • Develop and build the critical thinking skills of departments to drive new product discovery
  • Manage customer communication platforms (e.g., phone system, trouble tickets, etc.)
  • Communicate and report on the client experience including issues, trends, satisfaction, and feedback
  • Act as point person in FoodChain ID’s relationship with the Non-GMO Project on client-facing non-technical issues

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and achieve results through others
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, and expertise in consultative selling methods
  • Ability to diligently manage customer satisfaction and the customer base
  • Must be collaborative, an innovative thinker, and decisive, with a strong results-orientation and strategic in thinking and approach
  • Some travel may be required for professional relations to conventions and expos, and for visiting client locations

Education/Experience:

  • Required: Bachelors degree in Business or Operations Management. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years management experience in business development or sales
  • Combination of education and experience as noted above

The Client Services Specialist partners with and ensures the long term success of our customers. This position is responsible for guiding and assisting participants throughout the entire verification process.

Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager provides high-level customized account management to the top sector of our client base to ensure long-term success in the Non-GMO Project verification program. This position is responsible for guiding these clients throughout the entire verification process.

Technical Evaluator

The Technical (Food) Evaluator conducts regulatory/technical reviews of products enrolled in the Non-GMO Project product verification program. Requirements for this position include a BS in Food Science or related field.

Marketing Liaison

The Marketing Liaison works with the Global ID Group global marketing team to execute and optimize marketing campaigns that drive efficient growth for FoodChain ID by building leads of new prospects and increasing client retention.

Responsibilities/Duties

Increase Leads (approximately 50% of the position’s responsibilities)

  • Execution of marketing campaigns, including:
    • Automated emails
    • Email newsletters
    • Organic social media
    • Pay per click (PPC) campaigns (e.g, adwords, twitter, etc.)
    • Create valued-added offers to support lead generation, such as the production of whitepapers and webinars
  • Optimize website SEO
  • Assist with creation and consistent application of branding (website, SupplyTrak, style guide, email signatures, business cards)
  • Respond to FoodChain ID-specific information and content requests from the press
  • Propose topics for FoodChain ID marketing collateral. Ensure that final products are factually correct.  Periodically write initial article drafts leveraging domain expertise.
  • Manage the design and production of printed collateral and promotional material

Marketing Automation and Reporting (30%)

  • Close to real-time responses to inquiries
  • As related to marketing, improve user experience for systems, work in conjunction with Operations and Client Services
  • Work with inside sales to automate follow-ups
  • Track and report on marketing-related KPI’s

Quantify and Manage Customer Retention (10%)

  • Monitor and report on brands/products verified by other technical administrators (TAs) as well as clients who switch to another TA.
  • Manage social media outreach to connect with our customers

Cross Marketing with other Subsidiaries (10%)

  • Cross marketing with Global ID Group affiliate companies and other subsidiaries

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The Senior Finance Manager responsibilities include subsidiary accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, tax-related work, special projects, audits, and significant involvement in the budgeting process. This position reports to and works closely with the CFO. You will work with people worldwide; therefore good communications skills are essential. Your experience will help us develop our team and grow our capabilities. Required: minimum 3-5 years of experience and an accounting degree. Preferred: tax and international experience. CPA or public accounting experience beneficial.
